Appel à projet « European High-Performance Computing (EuroHPC) Joint Undertaking (JU) »

Marios ZACHARIAS a intégré l’Institut FOTON - UMR CNRS 6082, CNRS, INSA Rennes, Université de Rennes - en octobre 2022 dans le cadre du programme international de bourses post-doctorales BIENVENÜE. Il est depuis début mai 2023 lauréat d’une bourse Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) (projet ULTRA-2DPK) sous la supervision de Jacky EVEN. Son projet de recherche sur les matériaux pérovskites s’inscrit dans les objectifs de l'Union Européenne en matière d'écosystème durable de l'énergie solaire, ainsi que le développement de technologies optoélectroniques modernes et peu coûteuses.

Dans le cadre de l’appel à projet « European High-Performance Computing (EuroHPC) Joint Undertaking (JU) », il vient de décrocher un accès pendant un an sur le super-calculateur exaflop LUMI basé en Finlande. Lumi est l’ordinateur européen le plus puissant et dans les cinq premiers au niveau mondial. Il est accessible dans le cadre d’appels à projets européens.

Marios ZACHARIAS joined the FOTON Institute - UMR CNRS 6082, CNRS, INSA Rennes, University of Rennes - in October 2022 within the BIENVENÜE international post-doctoral scholarship program. Since the beginning of May 2023, he is the recipient of a Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) scholarship (ULTRA-2DPK project) under the supervision of Jacky EVEN. His research project on perovskite materials fits to the European Union's objectives for a sustainable solar energy ecosystem, as well as the development of modern and inexpensive optoelectronic technologies. As part of the “European High-Performance Computing (EuroHPC) Joint Undertaking (JU)” call for projects, he has just obtained access for one year to the LUMI exascale supercomputer based in Finland. Lumi is the most powerful European computer and in the top five worldwide. It is accessible within the framework of European calls for projects.
