French Summer School

INSA Rennes and ENSAI, two French "Grandes Ecoles", are pleased to present an exciting and unique study abroad opportunity for international students. Our short-term program includes intensive courses of French as Foreign Language, as well as cultural activities to learn about France and its culture and discover Brittany and its capital, Rennes. Come and join us to meet friends from all over the world and share an unforgettable experience!

Program dates

The next Summer School program will take place from 1st June to 26th June 2026 on INSA Campus in Rennes.

Courses

French language classes are taught by professionally trained and certified "French as a Foreign Language" teachers. They are dedicated to students with level: beginner or intermediate (A1 to B1).

The programme entitles to 6 ECTS credits.

Costs

• Administrative costs: 300€ upon registration for all participants (non-refundable)
• Tuition fees: 1 000€ (free for INSA partner universities’ students - To see if your university is a partner please click here)
• Accommodation from 267,50€ to 500€ for the full duration of the event (on-site accommodation) 
• Meal pass for the university restaurant (lunch): 3,30€ per meal

Accommodation

• On-site accommodation: single room or studette upon availability
• Possibility to choose a private residence near the campus
