INSA Rennes has 19 bedsits and 152 studio flats:

• bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC

Bed linen can be provided on request for international students housed at INSA hall of residence (furnished room or studio). Internet access (wifi and wired) is managed by Quantic telecom (annual subscription available).

Tenancy agreement

The tenancy agreement and the attached documents must be signed and handed over to the Campus life service upon arrival.

INSA Rennes has approximately 30 studios and rooms available to accommodate interns, students participating in ECIU challenges or INSA Rennes summer school, doctoral students, faculty members, researchers, and faculty-researchers visiting the laboratories, departments, and administrative offices.

Services

Conditions

Anyone with a connection to higher education and research is eligible for short-term accommodation.
A stay in short-term accommodation may not exceed one month (excluding summer accommodation).
All accommodation applications must be made via the INSA Rennes accommodation application portal.

For each application, the applicant must submit the following via the portal:

• the completed and signed specific contract (downloadable via the portal or the 2026-2027 short-term tenancy agreement

• a document proving their connection to higher education and/or research

•  a copy of proof of identity (passport or identity card, front and back)

   

Procedure to follow

The tenant must come to collect their keys during the public opening hours of the Accommodation Office.
If the tenant arrives before their booking date, the Accommodation Office will make an additional booking if the accommodation is available.

If the tenant does not collect their keys on the date specified at the time of booking without notifying the Accommodation Office, the booking will be cancelled.
Payment is due upon collection of the keys.
The tenant must return their keys to the Accommodation Office by 11am on the day of departure.

All accommodation in the short-stay sector has Wi-Fi internet access.

A food truck offers you cold and hot sandwiches, salads, pies, homemade desserts, fruits and drinks every lunchtime, from Monday to Friday.

The food truck is located at building 10, between Allée Antoine Becquerel and Allée Victor Grignard.
