Catering

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the INSA restaurant, which has a self-service cafeteria and a lounge. The restaurant is open to INSA-Rennes students and staff every day (except during university holidays).

For students staying in the halls of residence:
breakfast, lunch and dinner are served from Monday to Friday. Breakfast and lunch are served on Saturdays. Dinner only on Sundays.

For students living off campus: lunch from Monday to Friday. 

Accommodation

Bed linen can be provided on request for international students housed in an INSA Hall of Residence (furnished room or studio).

171 furnished studio flats

INSA-Rennes has 171 apartments, including 19 bedsits and 152 one-bed flats:

  • bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC
  • single bed, desk, chair, cupboard and shelves
  • Bedsit: private kitchenette
  • 1-bed flat: kitchen shared with flat next door
  • WIFI connection in each room with a network socket
  • TV socket and phone plug
  • laundries

Housing allowances for students

Foreign students with a residence permit may be entitled to a housing allowance granted by the French government. Applications for housing allowances are managed by the Accommodation Service at INSA-Rennes.

 

Good to know

One year of study at INSA Rennes costs approximately €6000, accommodation and meals included (as a boarder). This tariff varies according to the accommodation chosen.
