Biographical sketch
Dr. hab. Aziz Belmiloudi, Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics (INSA of Rennes, France) and member of IRMAR (Institute of Mathematical Research of Rennes), was born in Meknes, Morocco.
Graduated from "Magistère of Mathematics and its Applications" of University, Rennes1 in 1991, he received his Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics from the INSA of Rennes in January 1995. In June 2002, he obtained his "Habilitation to Direct Research work" in Mathematics at University, Rennes1. He serves as referee for applied mathematics and engineering control journals.
His fields of interest include the Modeling, Mathematical Analysis and Numerical Simulations in Physical and Biological sciences more specifically in nonlinear control and dynamical systems. He is the author of several scientific papers in such diverse areas, namely : oceanic and atmospheric circulations, solidification processes and phase fields models, superconductivity and vortex dynamics, population dynamics, biomedical systems and transport processes, and nonlinear multidimensional PDEs with delays.
In addition to conference talks, he has given individual seminar/colloquium talks at many universities and institutes. He is internationally recognized in the research field of Control Theory, Nonlinear PDEs, Applied Analysis and Nonlinear Methodology for Control, Stabilization and Optimization.
