A progressive and personalised study programme

INSA-Rennes allows students to progress gradually from a more generally oriented engineering programme (years 1 and 2) to specialised studies which are adapted to their future profession (see list below).

Six engineering speciality options to choose from two areas :

Science and Technologies of Information and Communication (STIC)

• INFO – Computer Science 
• SRC - Communication Systems and Networks

Materials, Structures and Mechanics (MSM)

• GCU - Civil Engineering and Urban Planning 
• GMA - Mechanical and Control Systems Engineering 
• MNT - Materials Science and Nanotechnology
  

Research studies

Upon completion of the engineering Master's course, students are offered the option of furthering their studies at one of the doctoral schools.
