The INSA Rennes Students' Association (AEIR)
Created in 1967, the AEIR ("Amicale" in French) is the association of student-engineers at INSA Rennes. With more than 1,100 members, its aim is to organise activities and events on campus and to create links with other associations in Rennes, students from other INSAs and alumni.
The association has 3 sections:
- Student Foyer & K-Fet
The Foyer is a meeting place for students, run entirely by members of the Amicale. It is also a venue for concerts, parties and shows.
The K-Fet is a place to relax, have a coffee, play table football, etc.
- Events
The Amicale organises numerous events, some of which have become major events: Rock'n Solex, Un des Sens, the Gala, INSAlan, etc.

Ouest INSA – Junior Enterprise
Ouest INSA aims to link engineering students with the professional world by managing projects, organising events, carrying out studies and developing relationships with companies.
EAI – Echange Afrique INSA
EAI carries out a number of humanitarian actions in developing countries (building schools, learning centres, etc.).
Forum Grand Ouest
This association organises the Forum Grand Ouest, the leading annual recruitment fair and student-business meetings in Brittany.
Ins’India
The Ins'India association aims to support Indian orphanages and schools. The team of INSA students carries out activities on campus and in the surrounding area throughout the year to exchange ideas, raise awareness and raise funds for humanitarian trips.
